Located on a small street in the 16th arrondissement, within a 10 minute walk from the Champs Élysées, near Place de l’Etoile and Avenue Kléber. The hotel Pastel is a beautiful flatiron building, so special that we made the first photo right before entering it, a candid moment.
On the lobby walls, there are sketches of Pierre Balmain in frames. A central circular sofa adorns the lobby, highlighting a mosaic pattern with a houndstooth pattern emblazoned with bright flowers.
In an eco friendly concept, the boutique hotel has a very charming aesthetic, inspired by the elegance of the locals, borrowing codes from famous maisons like Hermès, Dior and Chanel for the decoration of the hotel.
The Pastel Hötel was refurbished in 2017 by Laurent Maugoust. The 3-star boutique hotel has 36 soft-colored rooms offered in four different categories. We stayed on the first floor, at the Original Room, which has blue walls with a delicate white Boisserie, creating a cozy and comfortable stay. The hallway has pink pastel tones contrasted by black and white stripes carpets, that creates a sense of broadth.
The pastel hotel is so cute and stylish that I wish to return to it once again to record a fashion film.
The hotel belongs to the Blanc Hotels group, that has altogether eight design and boutique hotels at noble regions of Paris.
